1. Marketing & Sales Specialist (2 Positions Per Website)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking energetic, motivated, reliable individuals with an interest in marketing for our online website properties. The candidates must be able to run an effective marketing & sales campaign for a specific website.   We are searching for candidates who can manage web content, network with business owners, community leaders, & professionals via phone, in person, or on social networks.  Other responsibilities include working with others on various projects & any other tasks assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent.  Some college hours or college degree would be a plus.
- Candidates should have basic computer skills, the ability to copy & paste is a must.
- Must be familiar with other social network sites (i.e. Face book, Twitter)
- Must be a fast learner and willing to work hard.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills & ability to work individually or in a team environment.
- Adhere to deadlines to maintain current content & add new content including text, videos, & etc.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Implement updates of copy/images/links on the website; source photos or other graphic elements & copyright.
- Test websites to ensure content & links are up to date & working properly on sites.
- Edit / Proofread content accurately for style, accuracy, grammar, & search engine friendliness.
Occasional travel is required to assist at local events when needed.

Salary/Pay

Part-time $7/hr + commission

Hours

5am – 9am (Some nights and weekends for events)

2. Sales Specialist (10 Positions)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking candidates who can create and implement your own sales plan and –strategy.  Candidates must be able to consolidate and build new contacts with business owners, professionals, & community leaders and create new business from direct advertisers.  Other duties will be to service clients with information about our products.  You must be able to follow developments regarding your accounts and advise about future advertising.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- This is a hands-on role in a small, entrepreneurial team and the sales candidates will be required to source leads, make sales calls, visit clients, build & manage relationships with clients, & etc.
- Take an active role in working with the rest of the sales team.
- You will need to be an excellent salesperson with very good communication skills.
- You will also be very well-organized with basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of Internet technologies and the online advertising sales & business market is essential.
- Experience in dealing with business owners, professionals, & community leaders.  .
- The ability to apply creative solutions to advertising and sponsorships.

Salary/Pay

Commission (To Start) + Base + Bonus

8am – 12pm (Some nights and weekends for events)
